A Teacher at Heart, An Advocate by Nature
I have always loved working with kids and that passion inspires everything I do. After more than twenty years in education, I still find joy in helping students discover their strengths, grow more confident, and find strategies that make school feel less overwhelming. Families know me for my calm, nurturing style and my ability to create a space where kids feel capable and supported.

I bring both deep training and hands-on experience to my work. I hold:
A Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College
An Education Specialist degree in Language and Literacy from Simmons College
A Professional Certificate in Learning Difficulties and Neurodiversity from the Landmark College Institute for Research and Training
I am also a CERI-certified dyslexia practitioner and a Massachusetts-certified elementary school teacher, with extensive training in programs such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Lindamood-Bell, and Project Read.
In addition to tutoring, I have taught graduate-level courses in scientifically based reading and writing instruction at Bay Path College, sharing my knowledge with future educators.

What You Can Expect
My work is rooted in partnership. I meet kids where they are, guide families with clarity, and collaborate with schools whenever possible. Whether it is reading support, executive function coaching, or IEP guidance, my goal is always the same: to help students feel more confident and families feel more at ease.

Coaching and Support Beyond Tutoring
While my favorite part of this work is one-on-one time with students, I also support families and schools more broadly. This includes remote sessions, consulting, and coaching for parents who want tools to help their children grow with independence.
By working with both kids and parents, I create structures that help students take ownership of their learning while giving families the confidence and clarity they need to step back and let their children thrive.
